This isn't quite finished - there's no high score thingy.

Plot: The solar system is being overrun by light-sucking
alien bugs. Kill them before they reach your home planet.

Speedhack Rules:

Survival - you've got to keep the bugs away from your
home planet for as long as possible. It's not directly
your survival, but it's the survival of your planet.

Make it a classic - the game is rendered on a backbuffer
with a resolution of 320x200, then stretched onto whatever
screen resolution the game runs at. Throughout the game,
even though it runs in truecolor mode, only four colors
are used - different shades of green.

Randomness - the solar system, including the name of
your home world, is generated randomly. The name is
generated using lists of acceptable vowels and consonants.

Dichotomy - the evil light-sucking bugs (that look like
black holes) against the brightly-lit solar system, stars,
and space ship that shoots white bullet things.

World map - the small map on the bottom of the screen is
kind of like a radar screen, but it shows the entire solar
system, the ship and the aliens approaching.

How to play:

Use the arrow keys to turn and move in and out. Press
spacebar to fire. Use the up and down keys and enter
to navigate in the menus, and press escape to stop the
game or exit from the menu.

Where I got all the stuff:

The graphics were all made by me except for the little
space ship, which is from SpriteLib. Both songs were
written by me. The explosion sound came from my
Plugsound World of Synthesizers sample library and
the firing sound came from the free Nintendo percussion
synthesizer Toad.
